Youth Programming

We believe that kids who learn to interact with kindness and love of animals become kids who interact the same with people.  Animals and "farm life" have proven to be therapeutic for all of us!

Beginner Lessons

Beginner lessons at Plane View Farm include learning proper handling, grooming, and tacking of the horse.  This is included in the riding lesson.

As the kids become more proficient at caring for and preparing their horse for the lesson, their riding time increases.  Kids always begin in private lessons, then as they progress may be grouped into a semi-private or small group.

Lessons are purchased as monthly packages, and are held on the same day and time, with the same trainer and horse to ensure quality instruction and growth for each rider.

Lesson rates:

Beginner Private Package: $280/mo

Beginner Semi Private Package: $240/mo

Beginner Group Package: $220/mo
